Sheri's Credentials and Experience

I've had pets in my life since I was a little girl. We had dogs and cats, pet mice, bunnies and fish. When I was 14 years old we added a horse to our extended family and it was my responsibility to feed, water, turn in and out, exercise and clean up after her. A couple of years later we got a second horse which I also cared for.
Once I graduation from High School I got a job working at Darby Dan Farm in Galloway Ohio, caring for about 10 Thoroughbred race horses.
After I got married, we realized we could not afford for me to have any more horses so we acquired our first Siberian Husky. I did a little Obedience training but became more involved with Conformation shows. It didn't take long for me to become "hooked" by the dog show world. As I acquired more dogs to show and eventually breed, with my veterinarians advise and direction, I also learned to to give vaccinations, wormings and learned proper kennel management.
Until recently being laid off from General Motors, I have always had a full time job in a professional office, retail or manufacturing environment. Starting a business of my own in the pet care industry seemed to me to be a natural and enjoyable profession for me to begin. I assure you that I am professional, dependable and flexible and will do everything in my power to meet your pets personalized needs.
Currently we manage a large kennel of our own dogs that we exhibit at AKC dog shows and during the winter months we compete in Sled Dog races. Many of our Siberian Huskies are not only AKC Champions but proven Sled Dogs with Sled Dog and Sled Dog Excellent titles.
I am currently serving my second term on the Board of Directors of the Siberian Husky Club of America, Inc. and was just appointed on the Board of Directors for the Siberian Husky Club of Greater Detroit.
